Dashing though the Snow 2021

Where: Sunrise Boulevard & Arcadia Drive

What:

Citrus Heights, CA–Citrus Town Center’s KiDTOPiA Kids Club will be meeting to celebrate the holidays—meet Santa in his magical village filled with holiday characters you’ll meet our dancing beer, toy soldiers, Frosty and more.  Visits with Santa will be a $1 donation benefitting HART of Citrus Heights.  Tell Santa everything you are dreaming of for Christmas this year.  If you are very good, he just might fill Christmas your day with all your wishes.

Our festive holiday fairies will twist up some fancy balloon animals.  Don’t forget to stop by the craft station and scratch out your own creative design to take home and hang on your Christmas tree.

Wander through our 20-foot inflatable zone where you can take a selfie with the Grinch, Frosty and a few other special guests.  When you complete your journey through our fun inflatables stop by our DJ booth and meet up with DJ-San T Claus for a holiday dance party.  We are giving away fun prizes and candy and other surprises.

KiDTOPiA Kids Club takes place the second Saturday of each month at Citrus Town Center; you will find us the Fountain in front of Roundtable Pizza and Once Upon a Child.  Each club meeting includes a special guest appearance, a lesson and learning experience and fun activities.

Halloween Trick-or-Treat Spooky Street 2021

When: Friday, October 29, 2021 | 5pm – 7pm

What:

We are back! Citrus Town Shopping Center is inviting everyone to our Trick-or-Treat Party. We want to celebrate with our communities Friday, October 29 from 5pm – 7pm with an evening filled with candy goodie bags, candy scavenger hunt and fun family surprises around every corner — nobody will leave empty handed.

Other activities include street entertainers, DJ dance party, giveaways and more! We will be accepting spare change donations with all proceeds benefitting Citrus Heights HART.

“While 2020 is over, the need for help during the pandemic was particularly devasting for our homeless and at-risk community; if you are able to donate, this helps us provide rent assistance, school supplies and clothing for students, as well distribute food and hygiene kits”, said Kathilynn Carpenter, CH HART, Chair of the Board.

Please be ready to arrive in your Halloween costumes and enjoy our selfie photo station with the Great Pumpkin and Charlie Brown!  We will have our professional photographer on-site to take pictures of each family and child.

KiDTOPiA Reptiles Take Over at Citrus Town Center with Jungle James and his exotic animal adventure!

Citrus Heights, CA–KiDTOPiA members are in for the Reptile Take Over!  This isn’t like any normal reptilian experience—you will be surprised and excited when you bring the family to Citrus Town Center to visit with Jungle James Saturday, November 13, 10am – Noon.  Jungle James will be sharing all his reptiles big and small; fat and skinny; slithery and slippery—oh what fun it will be.  Did you know that there are over 10,000 species on Earth, and they have been around for over 320 million years!  Jungle James won’t bring all 10,000 species, but he may get close.

Our morning will include a DJ dance party and prizes for those who enter our free raffle. Meet our magical balloon twisters and get a free balloon animal and don’t forget to stop by the craft station where you can join in with all the KiDTOPiA members for a slithery experience!

New York Life will be on-site to provide finger printing and ID packages for all children in attendance. You can also stop by merchant booths including Half Priced Books, Building Kidz and more.

Santa’s Magic Trail Contactles Car Parade 2020

During the days of COVID-19 we have lost some of our favorite events and have been unable to visit museums, zoos, and other fun places that we all took for granted.

We want to give our community something to look forward to this holiday season.  After our successful Halloween drive-thru event at Citrus Town Center, we realized this must take place for Christmas as the community really came out — parades have been hugely successful and well attended.  We want to celebrate the holidays with our communities once again with a fun and festive contactless car parade.  Nobody will leave empty handed. 

On Saturday, December 5, from 5pm – 7pm we will be ready to treat you with our fun filled Santa’s Magic Trail contactless car parade.  You and your family members will be safely guided down a street filled with magic, nostalgia, street entertainers, gifts for the children, candy, and Santa! In addition, we will be accepting spare change donations with all proceeds benefitting HART.

Please be ready to arrive in your PJ’s and prepare to have your photo taken from your car window!  We will have our professional photographer on-site to take pictures of each car while you drive slowly down our fun lit-up nostalgic street filled with inflatables representing movie memories from years gone by—then as you see Santa wave and give his fairy helper your letter making for a perfect end to your drive thru fun. Santa’s magic fairy will make sure he sees what you want for Christmas!

Contactless Halloween Trick-or-Treat Car Parade 2020

We want to give our community something to look forward to this fall. We know that our Trick-or-Treat parades have been hugely successful and well attended. We want to celebrate with our communities this year with a fun contactless car parade. Nobody will leave empty handed.

Friday, October 30, from 4:30 pm – 6:30 pm Citrus Town Center will be ready to treat you with a fun filled Spooky Street contactless car parade. You and your family members will be safely guided down a street filled with music, street entertainers, trick-or-treat goodie bags filled with toys, candy, and special gift card surprises for our adult guests. So, check those bags closely, you may have a $5 – $25 gift card inside the bag. In addition, we will accepting spare change donations with all proceeds benefitting Citrus Heights HART. “While the pandemic has been a challenge for everyone, it has been particularly devasting for our homeless and atrisk community; if you are able to donate, this helps us provide rent assistance, school supplies and clothing for students, as well distribute food and hygiene kits”, said Kathilynn Carpenter, CH HART, Chair of the Board.
